Xenia for the inclusion of the LGBT+ community in the Psychology Faculty at University of Barcelona

On the 1st December 2021, at the University of Barcelona, the first meeting of the Xenia Erasmus+ project team with students interested in getting involved in the project took place.
As a result of this first encounter, a core working group that will promote incluive actions for the LGBT+ community in Universities was created with particular involvement of students from the Psychology Faculty of the Mundet Campus.


During the meeting, the XENIA project was presented and participants put together new proposals, visions and perspectives around the most prominent themes that emerged in this first session.

While Higher Education is the main source of research on gender and sexual orientation stigma and exclusion, students discussed inclusion in three main dimensions: in the Institution, the Curriculum Programs and the Academic Life within the campus, key aspects of the Xenia Index.
