The training courses are for anyone involved in LGBTQI and feminist
activism, who identify as trans*, non-binary and gender non-conforming. It embraces a broad definition of activism, including: 1. Resistance – action preventing further damage to ecosystems and social justice; 2. Renewal – action focused on developing and creating alternatives for healthier societies and communities; and 3. Building Resilience – action supporting increased resilience in communities to weather the uncertain times ahead. The Ulex Project provides high-quality training for activists, change makers, and organisations. They take an integral approach – combining personal, interpersonal and political transformation. They look for systemic responses to systemic challenges – building movement capacity for social justice and ecological integrity. They deepen reflection and strengthen connections for personal and collective empowerment. |
